A Poem for New Beginnings: The Wind of Spring

Just as my heart falls into fatigue,

I’m caught by the wind of Spring.

I lift my head - hopeful, intrigued,

Carried upon her wings.

Though she seems frail from dark winter nights,

Her strength is in her song.

For year after year, she bursts forth her light,

Shining, bright and strong.
